“Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God.” Psalm 146:5
February was hurrying toward the marching of spring. Upon returning from a walk in a winter wonderland of brisk air and brilliant white hoarfrost, I walked toward the door of our home. Smiling at me from the window was a blooming pink geranium. It reminded me of my flowerbeds, as I had saved it from last year. Turning to look for signs of growth where snow had melted from the beds, I was surprised to see my crocuses, laced in light frost but just waiting to burst into bloom. What a contrast to the frozen crystals of frost I’d just been admiring on my walk! I couldn’t help but take a few moments to capture the picture of hope on my camera. How good of God to remind me from my flowerbeds in February that seasons change, spring will come again, and hope if ever new!
